I am studying the personalization of scent because I want to understand how individual experiences with smell can be captured and recreated, addressing the challenge of our limited ability to objectively describe and communicate scents.
Concept
I hope to create a scent printer that allows users to mix and diffuse their own blends of essential oils, providing a tool for more precise and personalized olfactory experiences that respond to the subjective nature of scent perception.
Impact
The goal of my project is to develop a system that makes it easy for people to craft and replicate personalized scents, promoting new ways to integrate olfactory experiences into digital interactions, enhancing environments, and enriching personal expression.
